What Men can Perform
What Women can Perform
While both men and women can participate and compete in artistic gymnastics, rhythmic is for women only. They need to perform on the floor with the use of special apparatuses. Routines are set to music and are great for people who love ballet and other graceful routines.
Rhythmic gymnastics is a combination of art and sport which focuses on eye-hand coordination, grace, dance, and flexibility. It is scored based on body language, use of space and synchronicity with music. Its artistry and choreography are beautifully amazing.

There is no such word as best when it comes to choosing between artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. It’s a personal choice as both can provide awesome experiences. If you love ballet, dance, gymnastics, and fun of apparatus manipulation then rhythmic gymnastics might be good for you.
On the other hand, if you love flying flips, tumble passes or something closer to acrobats, you can opt for artistic gymnastics.
